Welcome! I’m Laurie Cox, an educational advocate and homeschool consultant with over two decades of experience helping families navigate the learning journey with confidence, clarity, and independence.

I come from a multi-generational family of educators who taught me that real learning happens when you put students and families first. Over the past 20+ years, my career has spanned both secondary and higher education, giving me a rare, 360-degree view of how educational systems operate from the inside out.

Deep Roots in Education & Innovation

Throughout my career, I have served as both a classroom teacher and an administrator. During my time at Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi, I had the privilege of helping build the institution's online learning infrastructure and training the faculty to deliver high-quality, flexible instruction. I know what effective, adaptable education looks like, and I know how to design learning environments where students actually thrive.

An Advocate for Families, Not Bureaucracy

While I’ve worked inside administrative walls, my loyalty has never belonged to school boards, district politics, or institutional red tape. My advocacy is strictly for the people in the trenches: dedicated teachers and homeschooling parents.

I believe deeply in protecting the right of parents to direct their children’s education. My goal isn't to uphold system protocols; it’s to insulate your family from unnecessary friction, cut through the noise, and ensure you have the tools and freedom to educate your children on your own terms.
